Place: Egypt; based in Cairo and serving the poor throughout the country, especially in the villages of Upper (southern) Egypt

The village workers serve in villages and deprived areas, seeking to strengthen local churches and believers and to mobilise them to serve their local communities.

Prayer points

Plans for the coming year include the following, for which they request prayer:

  1. To start 50 educational support classes, to help poor children with learning difficulties to keep up with their school work.
  2. To help in the marriage preparations of 200 brides from poor families.
  3. Distributing clothes on both feasts to 500 poor families.
  4. To help provide medicines and medical check ups for those who are sick from those 500 poor families.
  5. To help in installing latrines in the homes of poor families.
  6. To hold one-day retreats for needy children.
