As an organisation we are working in the slums of Nairobi and the environs where we are teaching children on life skills as a behaviour change intervention in a context where many are at the risk of HIV infection.
- Pray that we would have favour with the ministry of education officials and the teachers in the schools so that we can have a favourable environment to teach the kids.
- Pray against children sexual abuse which is spreading so fast despite the civil societies efforts. We have two cases already within our program that have been reported within less than a month. They are within just about 10km apart in location. These are some of the poorest families, no wander even taking the culprit to prison is impoverishing the remaining mother and children who are totally dependant on the dad (in some cases they are the fathers of the less than 16 year old victims).
- Pray that the government efforts towards poverty eradication eg the MDGs will bear fruit in this country. The situation is worse in some areas.
