EFC CC is a network of advocates for children that provides opportunities for learning, equipping and working together so that children will experience and celebrate the fullness of life.
In Jan and March 2008, we begin the year-long modular Celebrating Children Course – in Phnom Penh and Poipet (at Thai border). Pray for a new Training Assistant, suitable teachers and mentors, good facilitation and for sufficient participants who will be enthusiastic to learn and put the lessons into practice, at home and in their churches and workplaces.
We host regular Bi-monthly meetings – in Phnom Penh mainly for NGO staff, and in Kampot Province, for pastors/leaders.
Pray for valuable times and that these networks are strengthened, especially in Kampot where we will concentrate most of our activities in 2008, including two Sunday School Teachers’ Trainings (Feb & May 2008)
Our activities involve much travel. Pray for the purchase of a suitable vehicle, a new driver, and for safety, as well as energy for all our team. Six staff, plus several others from Cambodia, will join the Viva Network Cutting Edge in Bangkok (18-24 Nov).
Pray it will be a helpful time of networking and sharing as well as input into our own lives.
